Udder Delights supports farmers with new fundraiser

Adelaide Hills cheese producer, Udder Delights, has released a special cheese to help fundraise for the health and wellbeing of farmers and advancement of the agricultural industry.

Stocked in Coles and selected independents nationally, 20¢ of the specially labelled Udder Delights Double Cream Brie will be donated to the National Centre for Farmer Health, which supports farming communities by training the next generation, building capacity in the rural health and agriculture workforce, developing farmer-focused resources and health check programs, and giving guidance in challenging situations.

The fundraising initiative comes as Udder Delights celebrates a milestone of 25 years of artisan cheesemaking and aims to give back to farmers who have supported them over the years.

“It was so important to us to support farmers across Australia and internationally after the close relationship we’ve had with many over the years,” says Udder Delights General Manager of Marketing and Sales Phil Donnellan.

“Choosing an Udder Delights’ Double Cream Brie is not only a delicious choice, but it also contributes towards the health and prosperity of the agricultural industry.”

Based in Lobethal, Udder Delights has collaborated with local dairies throughout the decades, by sourcing milk locally to get the highest quality cheese. Today, the factory produces 800,000kg of signature handmade cheese per year.
