New R&D resource to empower vegetable growers

AUSVEG is encouraging Australian vegetable growers to make the most of a new online resource.

The recently-launched Knowledge Hub – housed on the AUSVEG website – provides a centralised platform for growers to access and keep up to date with more than 3000 pieces of levy-funded R&D project information, resources and research.

Covering everything from agtech, biosecurity, soil health, irrigation, business development, to consumer insights and more, the Knowledge Hub is home to nearly 1700 R&D project overviews, over 1100 project reports, more than 400 fact sheets, and hundreds of articles, videos, case studies and podcasts.

“By consolidating relevant and valuable information into a single platform, the Knowledge Hub gives growers a new tool to make informed decisions, address challenges, and adopt innovative practices to benefit their businesses, using key R&D resources that their levies have funded,” says AUSVEG National Manager of Communications Andrew MacDonald.

The development of the Knowledge Hub and communication of vegetable industry R&D information is an output of the vegetable industry communications project, funded by Hort Innovation using the vegetable research and development levy and funds from the Australian government.

Communication of onion industry R&D information is an output of the project Australian onion industry communications, funded by Hort Innovation using the onion industry research and development levy, and funds from the Australian government.
