Zeven Lemon has introduced a beverage that balances the best of beer and cider to create a light and crisp beer.
One hundred per cent natural and brewed in Sydney, Zeven Lemon’s Strawberry Blonde is the creation of Leimin Duong, an ex-corporate worker who left her job to follow her passion for beer. After reading an article about strawberry beer in Holland, Ms Duong saw a gap in the Australian market and decided to create her own.
As a self-confessed beer lover, she taught herself to brew and began experimenting by blending natural fruit into beer. Soon after perfecting the process, she realised she had found a unique-tasting beer that was low in bitterness with a subtle fruit finish.
Zeven Lemon combines natural strawberry juice, brewed malted barley and wheat beer, and the Strawberry Blonde Beer is available nationally from the Dan Murphy’s website, various Victorian liquor stores and online.
