The two new warehouse facilities in Sydney’s Horsley Park total 58,225sqm and expand on four facilities within Oakdale industrial estate. The development will allow DHL to service increased customer growth in consumer, retail and healthcare industries.

The development, undertaken by Goodman, will also include the regional construction of Old Wallgrove Road, which comprises four lanes of separated carriageways and will substantially improve access for DHL and future customers at the estate.

DHL Supply Chain Australia Managing Director Saul Resnick said the new facilities will expand on DHL Supply Chain’s presence in Sydney’s Horsley Park and offer around 220 new jobs in the area.

“DHL continues to support growth, greater employment opportunity and improved infrastructure in western Sydney, which is fast becoming an important hub for logistics,” he said.

“With over 58,000sqm of new warehousing, over 22,000sqm of which will be temperature controlled, we are in a strong position to grow our client base in some of the most state-of-the-art facilities in the country.”
