As the food and hospitality industry continues to evolve and the impact of technology and AI is felt at pace, one thing remains irreplaceable: human connection.
Fine Food Australia returns to the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre next month, bringing together more than 25,000 industry professionals and over 900 exhibitors face-to-face for Australia’s largest B2B trade event dedicated to foodservice and hospitality.
In an era where business, and how customer relationships are managed, is changing at pace due to AI, Fine Food Australia provides something that digital platforms simply can’t replicate: the opportunity to meet in person, build genuine relationships, experience products firsthand and make business decisions with confidence.
For four days, chefs, restaurateurs, cafe owners, retailers, distributors, experts, manufacturers and suppliers from across Australia and more than 30 countries will come together to discover new products, strengthen partnerships, exchange ideas and uncover the innovations shaping the future of the industry.
New in 2026
Creating a hotbed of opportunity for anyone in the industry, the 2026 edition of the country’s longest-running food event has announced a host of reasons to attend, including:
- Taste of Australia pavilions: Celebrating the very best of Australian producers, the expanded Taste of Australia precinct will feature Flavours of NSW, Food South Australia, Trade Tasmania and Taste of Queensland. These state pavilions champion regional producers and provide buyers with an easy way to discover outstanding local products from across the country.
- USA Country Partnership: For the first time, Fine Food Australia welcomes the United States as its Official Country Partner. A dedicated USA showcase will introduce Australian buyers to American food, beverages and ingredients through daily tastings, educational sessions and networking events, creating new international trade opportunities and strengthening cross-border partnerships.
- Tech Stack Breakfast: Bringing together four of Australia’s best hospo tech platforms – Lightspeed, Loaded, SevenRooms and HungryHungry – and hosted by food journalist and restauranteur Dani Valent, this event will answer the question that many have: what tech does a modern venue actually need, and how does it all fit together?
- Curated Show Tours: Making their Melbourne debut, ten expert-led guided tours will take visitors through carefully selected exhibitors based on key themes, trends and product categories. These small-group experiences are designed to help buyers discover new suppliers, uncover emerging innovations and make meaningful connections with businesses aligned to their specific needs.
Fine Food Australia 2026 will also extend beyond the exhibition floor, with networking events designed to celebrate the people behind Australia’s food and hospitality sector while creating valuable opportunities to connect with peers, suppliers and future business partners.
