The Jose Cuervo International portfolio will depart Think Spirits next month and join the growing stable of brands at island2island Beverage Co. Commencing October 8, island2island will take over as the importer and distributor of Jose Cuervo International brands in Australia and the South Pacific islands.
The Jose Cuervo International portfolio includes Jose Cuervo Tequila, 1800 Tequila, Gran Centenario Tequila, Agavero Liqueur, Boodles British Gin and The Kracken Black Spiced Rum.
Additionally, island2island will also take over the distribution of Bushmills Irish Whiskey on October 1. 
The family-owned island2island launched in 2007 as the exclusive Australia distributor of Angostura bitters.
This is the second wave of expansion for the company, which has been expanding since 2011 to include an extensive portfolio of premium products, including the Angostura rum range, Stolichnaya vodka, Broker’s London dry gin and San Miguel beer.
