Leading brands turn pink

Some of Australia’s biggest brands are supporting the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) this month by going pink to raise funds for breast cancer research.

Pental PinkNBCF Chair Elaine Henry says the support from corporate partners is crucial to ensuring breast cancer research can continue.

“Our corporate partners not only provide vital funds for research, but support the National Breast Cancer Foundation in many other ways, such as payroll giving, gifts in kind, skilled volunteering and more,” she said.

“Our partnership then allows companies to uniquely position their products in the market to achieve product differentiation and increased sales through affiliation with our cause.

“Their generosity is helping fund research into prevention and risk, early detection, familial breast cancer, novel therapies, personalising treatment, advanced breast cancer, survivorship, and breast cancer in young women. Our corporate partners and supporters help us move closer towards our goal of zero deaths from breast cancer by 2030.”

The NBCF is Australia’s leading community-supported organisation dedicated to funding high-quality research into the prevention, detection and treatment of breast cancer. The foundation receives no government funding and says every dollar donated contributes to life-changing research. In the past 21 years, it says, NBCF has funded significant breakthroughs and added to global knowledge about breast cancer.

  • Mission Original Wrap (Mission Food donates $60,000 a year to NBCF).
  • Dove Antiperspirant deodorant ($1 for every product sold during October will be donated to NBCF).
