Meaty offering from Harris Farm Markets

Family-owned Harris Farm Markets has opened a new store at Lindfield, in Sydney’s north, bringing a marketplace of fresh fruit, vegetables, premium groceries, seafood and the retailer’s most extensive meat offering yet.

Cape Grim grass-fed Tassie beef; Pialligo award-winning small goods; Hazeldene’s free-range RSPCA-approved chickens; and Valenca’s free-range pork are just some of the proteins available from the nose-to-tail focused offering.

Lindfield Harris Farm Markets also has family-owned Sydney Fresh Seafood, which is overwhelmingly popular at the Manly, Drummoyne and recently renovated Potts Point stores.

A first for the family-owned grocer, Lindfield is home to award-winning organic sourdough bakers Infinity Bakery.

The store also features an extensive range of takeaway options. The Farm Kitchen offers free-range flame-grilled chickens, roasts “fresh from the oven”, seasonal cooked vegetables and salads, as well as fresh takeaway rolls.

Visitors to the Lindfield store will be able to enjoy a coffee from the team behind Charlotte’s Café, who already have outposts at Harris Farm Mosman, Boronia Park and Manly. Likely to tempt guests to pause and enjoy their coffee on-site will be the 15-person outdoor terrace seating overlooked by a 20-metre community mural from the children at Lindfield Public School.

The Lindfield store will also introduce ‘Single Herd Milk On Tap’, an initiative that sees a regular rotation of different single-origin milk herds made available to customers, with farmers featured receiving an additional 30 per cent return above regular milk gate prices per litre. Lindfield’s store kicked off with milk from the Bowley Family’s full cream Jersey and Holstein herd.

“At Harris Farm Markets, we pride ourselves on supplying communities with the freshest fruit and vegetables, supporting farmers and sustainable suppliers,” said co-CEO Tristan Harris.

“We’re excited by the opportunity to expand our offering within the North Shore and look forward to welcoming the community into the new Harris Farm Markets Lindfield store.”

Harris Farm Markets now has 21 family-owned stores and two regional concession stores in NSW, with Lindfield the fifth for the North Shore alongside Willoughby, St Ives, Cammeray and Mosman.
