Water brand Pump has been announced as the official water of the AFL and will change its packaging to feature all 18 AFL teams during the 2017 season.
The limited-edition 750ml water bottles will be supported by a marketing campaign that includes PR, out-of-home, stadium, digital and social activity, with digital remaining a key focus throughout the year, the company says.
Pump will also engage with fans through in-stadium activations during key AFL rounds in March and April.
“We’re pumped about these limited-edition packs and our partnership with the AFL,” Brand Activation Manager Vince Lichaa said, “as it reinforces Pump’s positioning as the number-one water for sport and exercise. We can’t wait to hear consumer reactions and see fans nationwide supporting their favourite clubs with Pump.”
The teams featured on the new packaging are Blues, Bombers, Bulldogs, Cats, Crows, Demons, Eagles, Freo, Giants, Hawks, Kangas, Lions, Magpies, Power, Saints, Suns, Swans and Tigers.
