In response to the growing demand for products made using quality, fresh ingredients, Tibaldi has developed a range of Fresh Gourmet Sausages using 100 per cent premium Australian meat and locally sourced fresh herbs.
According to Tibaldi Australasia Marketing Manager Theresa Clough, working with fresh herbs presented some initial challenges, but, by partnering with Freshzest, which has a well-established retail market for fresh herbs, the brand was able to establish a supply chain that provides the freshest product possible.
“All the herbs used in Tibaldi Gourmet Sausages are harvested early in the morning before the heat of the day, cleaned, sanitised, packed and delivered to our Coburg [Victoria] site within 24 hours after harvest,” she said.
The range comprises:
- Lamb with Rosemary, Fresh Mint & Lemon Zest.
- Beef with Fresh Sage & Parsley.
- Pork with Fennel, Bell Pepper & Fresh Basil.
- Pork with Lemongrass, Fresh Coriander & Mint.
- Lightly Seasoned Pork Chipolata.
“It was important to develop a range of flavours that would appeal to a wide demographic of consumers, as sausages are consumed by the entire family; so we reinvented tried and tested classic flavour combinations with the addition of freshly harvested herbs,” Ms Clough said.
