Vetta Pasta joins NBCF as Corporate Partner

Vetta Pasta will be adding a splash of pink to supermarket shelves nationally from August to October, with the release of specially marked Vetta SMART pink pasta packs in support of the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF).

The “much-loved” pasta brand is joining forces with NBCF as a Corporate Partner, with specially marked pink packs of Vetta SMART Pasta hitting supermarkets shelves from August to October.

Vetta will donate 5c per pack of specially marked pink Vetta SMART Pasta sold between August and October.

Proudly Australian owned by Rinoldi, Vetta Pasta is known for its better-for-you SMART pasta range that delivers higher protein and higher fibre, with no compromise on taste.

In addition to donating to NBCF, Vetta will use its social platform to educate consumers and raise awareness of breast cancer, as well as featuring an NBCF Ambassador in its social media campaign.

“Vetta’s main target audience is female grocery shoppers aged 25-55, and we feel strongly about sharing with our pasta lovers the work the National Breast Cancer Foundation does to support life-saving breast cancer research,” says Rinoldi Director Bill Quayle. “We were moved and inspired by our meeting with their Ambassador Sarah Russell. We hope that her story will help others going through something similar, whilst highlighting the importance of funding breast cancer research.”

NBCF CEO Associate Professor Cleola Anderiesz says: “We’re excited to see the pasta aisle painted pink! Each bag of pink Vetta SMART Pasta sold will bring us closer to achieving the National Breast Cancer Foundation’s vision of Zero Deaths from breast cancer.”

In the lead up to Bread Cancer Awareness Month in October, Vetta’s campaign is a timely reminder that breast cancer does not discriminate. Breast cancer can affect anyone. As such Vetta would encourage everyone to visit the National Breast Cancer Foundation at nbcf.org.au to learn more about early detection and the importance of research.

Specially marked Vetta SMART Pasta pink packs will be available from Woolworths and Coles supermarkets nationally from 1 August (RRP $2.35 – $3). Vetta will donate 5c per participating pasta packs sold to NBCF.
