Vitasoy launches new range of Oat Yoghurts

Leading Australian plant-based Oat milk brand[2], Vitasoy, has unveiled its latest range of new plant-based products – Oat Yogurts. Made with Australian grown oats at Vitasoy’s state-of-the-art facility in Albury-Wodonga, the new Oat Yogurt range is available in three flavours including Blueberry, Vanilla, and Summer Fruits, which includes a blend of mango, guava, passionfruit and pineapple. The Oat Yogurts are nutritionally fortified with protein and calcium.

Vitasoy Australia Marketing and Strategy General Manager Nick Bartram says, “As the number one selling Oat milk brand in Australia[3], Vitasoy has long been recognised as a pioneer of plant-based products.  The business has taken its established credentials in making great tasting, nutritious plant-based milk and responded to demand from customers to introduce an additional plant-based yogurt range to the market that delivers on taste, texture and nutrition.

“Following the incredible consumer response to the launch of our Greek Style Soy Yogurt portfolio last year, we saw an opportunity to diversify the range using an Oat milk base. We were determined to deliver our signature smooth and creamy texture, along with a strong nutritional profile by adding protein and calcium, when developing this range.  We are incredibly proud of our 4 Health Star Rating and can’t wait to see the consumer response to the latest launch,” Mr Bartram said.

Vitasoy’s fortified Oat Yogurt range contain “beta glucan, calcium, protein and Vitamins B12 and D, and contribute to normal energy metabolism and immune system function.” Vitasoy’s Oat Yogurts have a 4 Health Star Rating and have the same classic dairy-based texture, with a thick, smooth and creamy consistency.

Vitasoy Oat Yogurts (RRP $3) is available at select Coles Supermarkets nationally, and includes Vitasoy Oat Yogurt Vanilla 140g, Vitasoy Oat Yogurt Blueberry 140g and Vitasoy Oat Yogurt Summer Fruits 140g.
