                   ROADSHOW: SOUTH AUSTRALIA ROBERN MENZ MAINTAINS SWEET CREDIBILITY The company behind brands such as Violet Crumble and Menz FruChocs updates Retail World on its recent developments. T he past 12 months have been extremely busy for  Robern Menz, with a number of new product  formats released to market, national penetration  into the P&C channel, and several collaborations launched with on-brand partners. According to Marketing Manager Polly Love, the biggest milestone for Robern Menz in this period is rolling out several new formats of Violet Crumble. “We reintroduced the 100g and 180g bag last year, and this was quickly followed with Nuggets small bite-sized versions in a double layer of milk chocolate, which have been enthusiastically received by both retailer and consumers alike,” she said. The company also introduced the Dark Violet Crumble 50g Bar, and in recent months launched the Dark Violet Crumble Cubes 180g Bag into Coles, with Ms Love noting that “there’s been a growing popularity for dark chocolate over the past decade or so, so we wanted to respond to that”. Other NPD includes Violet Crumble Golden Gaytime, Violet Crumble Golden Gaytime Crumb, Violet Crumble Bunny, and Violet Crumble 110g egg (for Easter this year).       36 RETAIL WORLD MAY, 2020
