EXPAND INTERNATIONAL FOOD Sauces of Asian market inspiration Ayam says its Hawker Market stir fry sauces are inspired by the hawker market stalls of South-East Asia. The range is available in the “authentic” flavours of Pad Thai, Thai Pad See Ew, Indonesian Mee Goreng and Malaysian Char Kway Teow, which are packed in pull-apart pouches and include individual garnish for “quick and easy use”. The Ayam stir fry sauces are now ranged in Woolworths and Coles stores nationally. Create a ‘warming, delicious’ curry with Patak’s Patak’s has added a Tandoori Curry Sauce to its range. The brand describes the product as a “delicate yet smoky” curry sauce, made with ginger, aromatic spices, tamarind, and garlic – “perfect” for creating a “warming, delicious” tandoori curry in 20 minutes. Available in a 450g jar, Patak’s Tandoori Curry Sauce is currently sold at Coles, Woolworths, and independent retailers. Low-calorie ready-to-drink jelly Yacoya’s Jelly B Drinkable Konjac Jelly range is said to be one of Berconia Foods’ “newest and fastest growing” lines. Packaged in a ready-to-drink format, the range is claimed to contain between five and seven calories and carry endorsement from Coeliac Australia. The jelly product is also halal certified by the Korean Muslim Federation. Lychee is the latest flavour addition to the Jelly B offering. Easy Tiger’s game is Aussie-made gyoza Easy Tiger Pork & Kimchi Gyoza are promoted as a “proven crowd pleaser” and the “perfect complete at-home meal”. Awarded Best New Retail Product at Fine Food Australia 2019, these gyoza are wrapped in a “silky soft” skin for a “perfect” crispy texture when pan-fried, and filled with “juicy” pork and kimchi (which is promoted as being known for its probiotic properties and benefits in supporting the immune system).
