EXPAND Natural infusion to the range Dilmah has launched a new flavour in its Infusions range, an offering promoted as being “all crafted using natural ingredients”. The Rooibos with Liquorice & Strawberry addition is described as a “sensuous and mild combination of wild strawberry and the soft sweetness of liquorice”. It’s also claimed to be a naturally caffeine free infusion. Available in a string and tag format, the new Dilmah flavour (RRP $4) is currently ranged by IGA. ‘Green pack’ now in capsules Claimed to be a market leader in Australia for organic and Fairtrade coffee, bean ground & drunk’s ‘green pack’ is known for “consistent market presence”, leading in ethical credentials. It’s now available in a Nespresso-compatible capsule range. Now more than ever before, says the brand, consumers can make a conscientious choice and brew an ethical cup any way they like. Fair enough for credentials Consumers are making selective and deliberate choices on where to pledge their brand loyalty, according to Bean Alliance. Fair Coffee is said to be no stranger when it comes to demonstrating transparency with ethical credentials and origins on front of pack. This extends to the transition from Africa blend to the newly created Ethiopia blend. Oxfam Fair Coffee, roasted by Bean Alliance Group under a licensed agreement, is claimed to lead the way with a product range that is not only Fairtrade and Australian Certified Organic, but also directly empowers coffee growing communities around the world. The ‘comfort’ of maple and caramel Madame Flavour’s Maple Caramel black tea is described as a “cup full of deliciousness and comfort”. According to the brand, the limited-edition blend is crafted with loose leaf tea from mountain estates in Ceylon and Assam, natural maple flavour and a sprinkling of “creamy” European caramel cubes. The blend is enveloped in biodegradable ‘GreenPla’ certified silky pyramids for “convenient preparation”, packed in a carbon offset factory and printed with vegetable ink to allow composting of the consumer unit. Available from this month, Madame Flavour’s Maple Caramel 14-pyramid pack is exclusive to Woolworths. Delicately does it with chamomile The Chamomile Flowers addition to Dilmah’s Inspiration Selection is a “delicate” herbal tea. Described as “supremely light” with a “delicate” floral aroma, the Chamomile Flowers product offers a mildly herbal taste and is complemented by hints of green apple and a “fragrant and lightly sweet finish”. According to Dilmah, the tea is best enjoyed straight, paired with apple pie, or used as an ingredient in a cream sauce poured over shell seafood. Dilmah Chamomile Flowers (RRP $3.99) is available in a biodegradable luxury pyramid teabag. It’s currently ranged by independent retailers. HOT BEVERAGES MAY, 2021 RETAIL WORLD 37 your range
