DELI & SMALLGOODS EXPAND Making bacon with reassurance Tibaldi Signature Collection has launched two hand-crafted bacons: Maple Cured Streaky Bacon and Red Gum Smoked Pan Sized Bacon. The “high-quality” bacon is made with sow stall free pork and is said to be “sweet, rich and smoky” in flavour. Promoted as using no artificial colours or flavours, Tibaldi’s bacon is claimed to be crafted at an allergen-free site and gluten free, providing customers with reassurance. The new bacons complement Tibaldi’s existing range of Signature Collection deli meats, which are said to cater for the “quality driven consumer”. Shots of flavour and protein Donskis Bullets are bite sized version of the original Donskis. They’re marketed as being fully fermented and matured salami that’s wood smoked and packed with flavour in every bite for a convenient, versatile on-the-go snack in a resealable pouch. This “gluten-free snack with protein in every bite” requires no refrigeration.
