EDITOR’S LETTER EDITOR’S LETTER ince our last edition, change has been inevitable. The landscape as we know it is not as familiar, yet the requirement for positive transformation is now. We have all had to adjust and grow through these times, and as much as we wish things would stay the same, as the great performers of history have said, the show must go on. In that spirit I would like to take this opportunity to thank a wonderful person who has represented our company and the industry for the past 11 years with grace and professionalism. Bianca Velez is a name many of you know, and with a mix of sadness and excitement for her, we announce that she has stood down as the Group Publisher at Retail Media for a well-deserved rest and a new adventure. We wish her and her family all the best for the future and hope you can join us in celebrating her success. At Retail World, we have been fortunate to talk with many of you through this time and the demand for clearer communication and information has been heard. So, in addition to bringing you this month’s issue of Retail World magazine, we are also excited to launch our new digital platform Retail World 360, which represents all the moving parts within our industry. With the team here and our amazing new contributors, we will help you navigate and provide more information about the whole grocery channel from farm to fork and everything in between that makes this happen. While we have big plans for Retail World 360 moving forward, for now this new initiative will be embedded on our website, in addition to the monthly Retail World 360 enewsletter that will be sent directly to your inbox. It’s an exciting time for Retail World and we’re glad to have you on board. Keep safe and well.
