Register now for GS1 Supply Chain Week 2017

Early-bird registration is open for GS1 Australia’s Supply Chain Week 2017 (SCW 2017) event later this year.

SCW 2017, in both Melbourne and Sydney from September 5 to 14, promises to deliver an interactive learning experience for supply-chain professionals and business owners to explore the role GS1 standards can play in driving business efficiencies and reducing costs while meeting today’s supply-chain challenges.

Spread over two weeks the event’s line-up features the latest industry insights, global developments, local success stories, regulatory updates, future trends and access to industry experts and solution providers.

SCW 2017 will build on the success of previous Supply Chain Week events, with additions to the program including evolving retail technologies, the importance of supply chain visibility across intermodal transport, and leveraging global marketplaces as a platform into new markets.

Keynote speakers include Woolworths Group General Manager Supply Chain Solutions Cameron Webb, who will discuss how supplying a supermarket retailer today is evolving from previous processes; Alibaba Group Managing Director Australia & New Zealand Maggie Zhou on identification in online marketplaces; and Australian Logistics Council Managing Director Michael Kilgariff on end-to-end visibility in the new transport and logistics landscape.

SCW 2017 delegates unfamiliar with GS1 will have the opportunity to attend GS1 overview sessions. There will also be networking drinks at the end of each day. Sponsors including Stibo Systems and MessageXchange will also be at the event to demonstrate how their solutions will enable the concepts discussed at the conference.

For registrations or further information, please visit the SCW 2017 website.
