Calabria Family Wines of Griffith, NSW won 10 Gold medals and eight Silver medals at the 2016 AWC Vienna International Wine Challenge.
The event is claimed to be the largest and most successful wine competition in the world, officially recognised by the European Union. Within the 2016 submissions, more than 12,826 wines were judged from more than 1,800 producers.
Calabria’s Gold winners were The Iconic Grand Reserve Shiraz (2013), Calabria Bros Shiraz (2013), Three Bridges Shiraz (2014), Nine Stones Shiraz (2013), 3 Bridges Durif (2014), Calabria Private Bin Montepulciano (2015), Calabria Private Bin Nero D’Avola (2015), Cool Climate Tempranillo (2015), Richland Chardonnay (2015), and 3 Bridges Botrytis Semillon (2013).

The third generation of the Calabria family owns and runs the business, which has been in operation for more than 70 years.
