Cold-brew coffee in a can

The KIND Coffee Co. has introduced a ready to drink range of shelf stable cold-brew coffees in slimline, recyclable 250ml cans. Featuring three new flavour profiles: two milk-based coffees, mocha latte and creamy milk latte, and a single-origin vegan double espresso.

Coffee loving Aussies have been looking for a sustainable, convenient product that also delivers on flavour, and The KIND Coffee Co. has responded with its sought-after RTD cold brew, which has a shelf life of 12 months.

After months of trialling and testing to get the perfect formula and taste, KIND’s founders Jules Gardner and Trevor Lynn, have developed a range with each option having its’ own unique flavour and is suited to the wide range of coffee lovers’ taste buds; smooth on the palate and enhances the natural and premium coffee taste.

Jules Gardner says, “It’s an exciting time for us and you can expect to see more as we continue to adapt and test new flavours. Our vision is to own the shelf (or fridge) by creating an authentic, delicious, and healthy option with no additives and less sugar, meaning it’s KIND to your body and perfect for all drinking moments throughout the day.”

Leaving their corporate lifestyles, founding partners established The KIND Coffee Co. eight years ago, taking the plunge and relocating to the idyllic Northern Rivers to begin creating their dream of “a distinctive, reliable, and sustainable product for serious coffee lovers.”

The purpose-built coffee brewing facility, based in South Murwillumbah, is dedicated, and designed to provide large scale and unrivalled quality to the production of their cold brews from start to finish – all from one location.

“The cold-brewing process is simple and effective, the coffee beans are freshly roasted, ground, and brewed to our standards of quality and flavour for every batch. We make and blend the brews using as many Aussie ingredients as possible,” Ms Gardner said.

“Part of KIND’s philosophy is reducing their environmental impact, and with this in mind they are fortunate to have partnered with the Shroom Brothers, another locally based Australian company, where they send their spent coffee grinds. The Shroom Brothers recycle them as part of their process to support the growth of the mushrooms and in turn create a sustainable cycle between the two businesses, taking a waste product and putting it to good use.”

“We endeavour to make a significant impact in the community and the planet, not only in the wellbeing of those coffee lovers, but by producing 100% recyclable products, with zero waste in our processing methods and sustainable recycling partnerships.”

The new range is available in stockists in the Northern Rivers, Queensland and online at thekindcoffeeco.com with fast delivery, coming soon to more stores around the country.
