Family-owned boutique producer, SSS Foods launches two hommus flavours nationwide, with a goal to inspire Aussies to find new inventive ways to use the dip.
The two flavours: Natural, and Coriander, Cumin & Mild Chilli Hommus are made with 100% natural, Aussie ingredients, including chickpeas from the flat tablelands of Kalkee, Victoria. The herbs and spices are from farmers at Sydney’s Flemington markets.
“Hommus is a surprisingly versatile food,” says General Manager of SSS Foods, Jalni Shah.
“Over the years we’ve seen our customers use it in a number of ways, such as pasta dishes, or as an alternative pizza sauce. It’s one of those kitchen staples that can be used to given an unexpected twist to a dish to impress at a dinner party, or used to create a healthy meal the whole family will enjoy.”
SSS Foods say that they pride themselves on the purity of its hommus and do not use any artificial flavours, preservatives or additional oils. Therefore, making the products suitable for vegan and gluten free diets, it’s also Kosher and Halal Certified.
SSS Foods Natural RRP is $3.80 and the Coriander, Chilli & Mild Chilli RRP for $3.80 hommus flavours are stocked nationwide in Woolworths stores.
