On its 80th anniversary, Kit Kat is giving Australians the chance to create their own flavour at the Kit Kat Studio.
At the Westfield Sydney shopping centre until August 30, the Kit Kat Studio concept store is allowing customers to sample never-before-tried flavours and create their own custom-made Kit Kat from “premium, 100 per cent sustainable, UTZ Certified” chocolate and 58 ingredients including salted caramel, Murray River salt flakes, rose petals and caramelised meringue.
The personalised ‘Create Your Break’ Kit Kat will be made to order and delivered in bespoke packaging with each creation individually numbered.
Shangri-La Hotel Sydney Executive Pastry Chef Anna Polyviou became the first Australian chef to create her own flavour, with the variety on sale at the Kit Kat Studio last week.
“We’re constantly on the lookout for innovative ways to help Aussies make their breaks even better and Kit Kat Studio is the first time we’ve offered this level of personalisation to consumers anywhere in the world,” Nestlé Confectionery Head of Marketing Chris O’Donnell said.
In addition to the create-your-own opportunity, Kit Kat Special Editions will also be available for purchase, with 14 new flavours including Crunchy & Chewy Salted Caramel with Toasted Queensland Macadamias, Crisp Espresso Cookie & Golden Honeycomb, Passionfruit, Mango & Kiwifruit Pavlova, and Reimagined Traditional Australian Lamington.
