Monster says its new Choc-lish muesli contains a number of healthy grains, superfoods and dark chocolate.
The cereal has a Health Star Rating of 4.5 stars and Monster says it will be the first cereal to introduce country-of-origin labelling, having sourced its ingredients from Australian locations.
“Choc-lish brings a completely new breakfast experience to the table,” Monster Health Food Co Partner Kim Lauman said. “It’s something the whole family can enjoy.”
The cereal combines five different nuts and seeds and is claimed to contain half the fat of regular muesli brands at 170 calories per serve. Choc-lish is also wheat-free and contains lupin sourced from Western Australia.
“Lupin is the next-generation superfood and an ingredient consumers will start to see more and more,” Ms Lauman said.
Choc-lish is available in select supermarkets and health food stores for $6.95 (405g).
