Peters Ice Cream and Gelato Messina have joined forces again to launch a new flavour of their popular gelato bars: the Messina Lamington Gelato Bar.
The new flavour is said to be “the ultimate salute to the lamington”, featuring rich chocolate gelato, desiccated coconut pieces, and a raspberry sauce centre all on a biscuit base, all enrobed in milk chocolate.
“At Gelato Messina we constantly strive to push the boundaries of flavours within our gelato range,” says Messina Co-owner and Head Chef Donato Toce.
“The Messina Lamington Gelato Bar does just that and we can’t wait for Aussies to try it!”
Peters Head of Marketing Andrea Hamori says consumers loved the last collaboration Peters did with Gelato Messina, “so we’ve reimagined a classic Aussie dessert, just in time for summer, which we know Aussies are going to love”.
The new Messina Lamington Gelato Bars are now available at Woolworths and Coles nationwide, with the rest of the Messina range, RRP $10.00 for a multipack of four.
For a limited time, Gelato Messina is also offering anyone who makes a purchase from a Gelato Messina store or orders from Gelato Messina via UberEats a free multipack from 19 October. There are 22 Gelato Messina gelatarias across the East Coast of Australia, all privately owned and operated.
