Plantry has introduced Pad See Ew and Teriyaki to its range of plant-based meals.
The brand is also expanding its offering with new plant-based meat alternatives. These include Chicken-Style Burgers, Original Chicken-Style Strips and Lemon & Herb Chicken-Style Strips.
“Plantry is committed to making eating plant-based easy and delicious,” says Plantry Marketing Manager Jessica Tahardi. “Our expansion into plant-based meats gives Aussies more opportunities to prepare recipes they know and love while giving a fork about the planet.”
In line with existing Plantry ready-made meals, the new Pad See Ew and Teriyaki dishes were “thoughtfully crafted” by a team of chefs. All meals are promoted as “vegan friendly”, high in protein, and freshly made and snap frozen.
The new Chicken-Style meats are “packed full of flavour”, and all come with a 4-Star Health rating. The Original Chicken-Style Strips and Plantry Lemon & Herb Chicken-Style Strips are said to be high in protein and a “versatile” addition to any kitchen, while the Chicken-Style Burger is described as having a “delicious southern style crunch and juicy chicken like texture”.
By choosing Plantry, consumers are also helping plant up to 50,000 trees across Australia and New Zealand through a new partnership with One Tree Planted.
“Planting trees is one of the best ways to combat the damaging effects of climate change and together with the One Tree Planted team, Plantry has handpicked tree planting locations across Australia and New Zealand,” says the brand. “These locations include Threatened Species Habitat Restoration in Western Australia and Waingake Native Restoration in New Zealand.”
The Chicken-Style range (RRP $7) and Teriyaki and Plantry Pad See Ew meals (RRP $8) are now available at Woolworths.
