Digital gift card platform Prezzee welcomes 13 new Australian retailers to its portfolio this month.
These include Harris Farm Markets, Village Roadshow, Glassons, Culture Kings, Bridgeclimb, Star Car Wash, Beginning Boutique, Global Experiences, Hey You, Vitable, Minecraft, Riot (League of Legends) and The Fight Factory.
Expanding its New Zealand retailer network, Prezzee welcomes Sephora, Peter Alexander, Portmans, Dotti, Jay Jays, Just Jeans, Smiggle, Mighty Ape, Travello and Global Experiences, to its growing offering.
Prezzee CEO Tony Karp says the platform’s retailers are what defines it as a company, and nurturing these relationships are paramount.
“I am thrilled to welcome such well-known household brands into the Prezzee fold, and I look forward to working with our retailers for many years to come, reconnecting Aussie shoppers with the joy of gifting,” he says.
Prezzee’s growth
Prezzee has experienced “exponential growth” in the last 12 months with a 230% growth in new retailers in comparison to June 2020. The company now has offices in Australia, the US, the UK and New Zealand.
Prezzee says its popularity largely lies in the seamless and personalised art of gifting, while using zero plastic. According to the company, it has “transformed” the traditionally perceived ‘thoughtless’ gift card into something “magical and unique”, allowing the sender to record a personalised video or audio message, or add a photo to their eGift card for no additional cost.
On the sustainability front, Prezzee claims to have saved 170 metric tonnes of CO2 this year alone.
Mr Karp says that with a Prezzee gift card, everybody gets that sense of being part of a happy journey.
“The recipient is happy, because of their experience, the sender is happy because it’s been instant and painless, and the environment is happy – clearly that’s a plus,” he says.
“Everybody wants to get gifted something – no-one is ever going to say no to a gift card.”
For every Prezzee Planet Smart eGift Card purchased in June, Prezzee is donating to One Tree Planted, to help restore Australian native forests and wildlife habitats devastated by bushfires.
