Ritchies Stores had a ‘very successful’ night at the IGA Victorian State Awards of Excellence held on 20 April.
The event is held annually to recognise the outstanding achievements of IGA stores and their teams across Australia.
Ritchies was awarded six awards including Dion Aloi taking out the Victorian Rising Star of the Year award. “Congratulations Dion on the win and also to Erin Harper on her nomination for the award,” Ritchies said. “There has been a number of previous winners of this award who have gone on to great careers within IGA, so not only is it a great recognition, but also a sign of what it is come.”
At store level, Ritchies country stores were awarded:
- Winner Cohuna – Medium Bakery Department of the Year – Store Manager Brent, Luke & Clifford accepted the award on behalf of the store.
- Winner Tatura – Large Store Meat Department of the Year – Store Manager Brendan, Former Store Manager Sheree, Luke and Daniel accepted the award on behalf of the store.
- Winner Tatura – Large Store Grocery and GM Department of the Year – Store Manager Brendan, Former Store Manager Sheree, and Luke accepted the award on behalf of the store.
- Winner Tatura – Large Store Transformation and Innovation Award – Store Manager Brendan, Former Store Manager Sheree, Luke and Jarrod accepted the award on behalf of the store.
- Winner Tatura – Large Store of the Year – all supervisors and team members that have assisted with Tatura accepted the award on behalf of the store.
