SMC’s new JSXFA series is said to be “the answer” when it comes protecting your operational space from dust.
While many make use of “elaborate” filtration systems to trap dust, SMC says it has recently released a cost-effective and simple solution to this “pesky problem”.
“In response to [the significant energy costs involved with the dust removal process], SMC Corporation has developed a valve technology – the JSXFA – that includes a fast closure and response that can pump large volumes of air at a higher pressure for a short period of time,” SMC OEM and Key Accounts Manager Vince Marcucci said.
“This is sufficient to create a shock wave that cleans the bag – while reducing costs.
“In a market that puts health and safety at the top of its priority list, our region is in dire need of an easy-to-implement solution. Where most valves are rated to stand up to around one million cycles, SMC’s JSXFA valves are rated to at least 10 million cycles.”
Catch SMC at FoodTech Queensland
SMC will be showcasing at FoodTech Queensland and Mr Marcucci says that this is the “prime opportunity” for visitors to the exhibition to come and discuss their issues relating to dust in the food and packaging environments.
“In factories producing milk powder for instance, dust remains a key concern and can cause unnecessary costs and downtime,” he said. “We urge any customers experiencing this to contact us.”
FoodTech Queensland 2019 will be held at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre between 28 and 30 July.
