Woolworths has introduced a post-paid mobile plan to its line-up and upsized the prepaid mobile offers to include up to 40 per cent more call and data inclusions.
Woolworths Rewards members will also receive a 10 per cent discount on every Woolworths Prepaid recharge online and at participating stores.
Woolworths’ new mobile phone plan offering is a Samsung S5 handset for $38 a month on a 24-month contract. This includes 1GB data, $1,000 call value for standard national usage, unlimited standard national SMS and free calls to other Woolworths users. Customers can easily add more data for only $10 per 1GB.
The Samsung S5 handset has a 5.1” full HD super AMOLED display, 16MP camera with a super-fast auto focus, S-health and built-in heart rate monitor and is dust and water resistant.
Woolworths also offers a “zero bill shock” promise, meaning the plan comes with a hard limit, helping customers to never spend more than the agreed monthly cost.
“We’re excited about the launch of our Phone Plan with our great Samsung deal for Christmas,” Woolworths Head of Telco Jason Hair said. “The S5 handset, coupled with generous call and data inclusions and backed by a zero bill shock promise make it very attractive for value-conscious customers. On top of this, our prepaid offers are now even stronger, with significant value for the same great price.”
Woolworths has recently refreshed its prepaid mobile plans by offering up to 40 per cent more included call and data value for the same price.
The prepaid $30 mobile recharge provides customers with 2.5GB of data until February 15, 2016 (inclusive of 500MB bonus during this period), unlimited standard national SMS as well as $1,000 call value for standard national and international calls (international call rates apply). This will take a customer’s total spend for the first month to only $32 after the $2 sim card purchase.
The prepaid $45 recharge offers customers a very generous 5GB data until February 15, 2016 (inclusive of a 1GB bonus during this period), and unlimited standard national calls and SMS.
“Woolworths offers access to parts of Telstra’s 3G network at a great price, with more value for our loyal Woolworths Rewards members,” Mr Hair said. “We are thrilled to add more products to our line-up and to continue bringing even greater value to our customers.”
