Woolworths has pledged at least $250,000 to animal welfare and rescue organisations caring for wildlife impacted by bushfires across the country. The retailer’s stores will also provide practical support with donations of surplus food where possible.
And with back to school around the corner, Big W and Woolworths have donated at least $200,000 in gift vouchers to communities affected by bushfires.
In addition, the retailer has announced entitlements for those who volunteer for rural fire services.
