                 HEALTHY LIVING    EXPAND Pluses for ‘better’ peanut butter Adding to its “much-loved” natural peanut butter range, Mayver’s has launched several “incredibly tasty” new varieties. Hiding more “super nutrients” into the taste of peanut butter that Aussie families are said to know and love, Mayver’s Probiotic Super Peanut Butter and Omega 3 Super Peanut Butter are designed to help peanut butter lovers reach their recommended daily intake. For “fans of the crunch”, Mayver’s has released a Dark Roasted version of its Extra Crunchy alongside a Smunchy Almond Butter. The new varieties will be available in Coles stores nationwide from this month. Plant-based cheese range grows MyLife BioCheese has launched multiple new lines and “premium innovations”. Among the new lines are Grated Parmesano ($7.50), BioMarinated ($14), Original BioCreamy ($6.50) and BioCheese Pizza Shred ($8). MyLife has also reduced the price of its “strong performing” BioCheese Original Block to $6. The new MyLife products are currently available in Coles. Fruit drink with half the sugar Golden Circle has launched Golden Circle 50% Less Sugar, an alternative option for those wanting to reduce their sugar intake from fruit juice. “With 50% Less Sugar fruit drink we are bringing sunshine and joy back so that families can enjoy the taste of sunshine in a glass, with half the sugar,” said Sachin Rajpal, Head of Marketing – Beverages at Kraft Heinz. According to the brand, Golden Circle 50% Less Sugar, available in a 2lt pack, includes the “great taste” of Golden Circle that consumers “know and love”, with 50 per cent less sugar. Found in supermarkets Australia-wide as well as online, the range includes the flavours of Orange, Apple, and Pear, Pine & Pash (RRP $3.10). Soda ‘so good’ with probiotics Nexba’s new Probiotic Soda range contains “no sugar, nothing artificial and one billion live probiotics in every can”. According to Nexba co-founder and co- CEO Drew Bilbe, the brand has always been about having the best of both worlds: “epic taste” but with no sugar and nothing artificial. “Our new Probiotic Soda range couldn’t be truer to this,” he said. “With the added benefit of one billion probiotics in every can to support gut health, this is the ultimate fun but functional innovation to shake up the soft drinks market.” The new range, in Cherry Cola and Pineapple flavours, is currently available exclusively at Coles in-store and online (RRP $7.50 for a 375ml four-pack). Baked chip eschews the fat Smith’s has launched what it claims is Australia’s first ever baked potato chip, Smith’s Oven Baked. With its oven baked method of cooking rather than the traditional fried method, the brand says it has created a chip that has 50 per cent less fat compared with its Crinkle Cut potato chips, with the “same great flavour” Smith’s chips are known for. PepsiCo ANZ Lead Nutrition Scientist and Dietitian Vered Moses says the company is excited that this “ground- breaking” product provides Australians with a better-for-you potato chip. The Smith’s Oven Baked range (RRP $3.49) is available in the flavours of Sea Salt, Sour Cream & Chives and Roast Chicken & Thyme at Coles, Woolworths and independent retailers.
