Entries are now open for the Australian Catalogue Association’s (ACA) annual awards night.
The ‘Catalogies’ recognises expertise and excellence in catalogue marketing, bringing together the best and brightest in the industry.
“These awards are a true celebration of our industry,” ACA CEO Kellie Northwood said.
She says that catalogues have the highest reach of any media channel, and that the awards represented an opportunity to acknowledge that “the catalogue is very much back in vogue”.
The 2015 edition of the awards drew more than 680 guests, with David Jones, Dan Murphy’s and Domayne winning the Retailers of the Year awards on the night.
“We noticed a shift towards localised photography and styling last year – in the past there was a trend of stock product photography coming in from overseas,” Ms Northwood said. “Content has also improved as big brands are investing in rich content to build brand stories and messaging.”
The awards will be held on Friday, September 2, with comedian Dave Thornton as master of ceremonies.
Award entries close on Wednesday, June 1. For more information, visit www.catalogue.asn.au/awards2016.
