Woolworths/FoodCo and Food Innovation Australia Ltd (FIAL) will hold a meet-the-buyer event as part of the Fine Food Australia trade exhibition in Sydney next week.
FIAL and Woolworths are giving suppliers the chance to learn more about the way Woolworths operates, and to pitch their products to the buyers during a special program at Fine Food Australia on Tuesday (September 12), which will be held at Sydney’s International Conference Centre (ICC) in Darling Harbour.
The event, on the ICC’s Level 3, will include a welcome from NSW government and FIAL members and a series of talks on topics including ‘Brand strategy and opportunities’, ‘Taking the complexity out of supplying to Woolworths’, and ‘Operations and marketing’.
Suppliers can also take advantage of open-forum Q&A sessions and networking with the Woolworths team.
After lunch, suppliers will be given 15 minutes to present their products to Woolworths’ own-brand managers, product developers, category managers and buyers. Presentations are by invitation only and times have been pre-arranged and confirmed.
