Plant-based snack attack

Vegan cheese brand BioCheese has expanded its range with a snacking line featuring plant-based deli slices.

The new lines include BioCheese’s Cheddar Flavour Slices alongside “never-been-seen-before, clean-label, plant-based” deli slices in Mild Salami and Ham varieties. They also feature gluten-free crackers made from brown rice.

Available for purchase at select Woolworths stores nationally, the line was launched this month in response to growing consumer demand for convenient plant-based products. The new lines join the brand’s existing snacking product – BioCheese Cheddar and Cracker Snack Pack.

CEO Vicky Pappas says BioCheese hopes to further expand the ranges availability into more stores soon.

“The long-term success of BioCheese is founded on our consumers wants and needs being front of mind. Doing so has allowed us to consistently be first-to-market with innovative, value-driven products in the dairy-free space,” she says.

“Launching additional snacking options, which included our own flavourful and functional plant-based deli slices, was a natural brand extension”.

BioCheese is also launching its first Vintage-style product. Described as “deliciously crumbly and with protein,” this product will also be available at select Woolworths stores nationally.
