AvoFresh has launched its first guacamole product, made on the De Paoli family farm just outside Bundaberg, Queensland from hand-picked Australian avocados.
According to the brand, AvoFresh Classic Guacamole is made with fresh cold-pressed avocado, a “hint” of onion, chilli, coriander, lime and a “sprinkle” of sea salt. It comes “conveniently” packaged in a resealable tub, and is promoted as vegan friendly, gluten free and dairy free. The product also contains no artificial colours or flavours.
The De Paoli family has been farming for more than 50 years in the Bundaberg and Childers region of Queensland. AvoFresh was created in 2010, when father and son team, David and Trent De Paoli saw an opportunity to provide lovers of avocado with a quick, convenient, and reliable alternative.
David De Paoli says the AvoFresh secret is in the way the fruit is processed.
“When our avocados are at the perfect ripeness, we peel and pit them,” he says. “We then use a unique cold-pressed, high-pressure technology to deliver AvoFresh products which allows us to retain the fresh natural taste and texture without additives, artificial flavours or colours.”
Available in 160g tubs, the guacamole retails for $5.50 and can be found in Woolworths and independent supermarkets across Australia.
