Woolworths has launched two limited-edition bakery products, Baked Cheesecake with Lotus Biscoff and Chocolate Chunk Cookie Pie.
Both products have been whisked up by the retailer’s bakery team as a sweet treat to share.
The Woolworths Baked Cheesecake with Lotus Biscoff ($22) is promoted as a “homage to the crunchy, uniquely caramelised biscuit”.
“We’re talking a rich and creamy baked cheesecake flavoured with Lotus Biscoff spread on a crumbly biscuit base, topped with Lotus Biscoff spread and biscuit crumble,” says Woolworths.
The Chocolate Chunk Cookie Pie ($14), on the other hand, features a “crunchy, gooey” vanilla cookie base with Belgian dark chocolate chunks.
“Biscoff flavour has taken the world by storm, and we wanted to celebrate the unique flavour in a rich and creamy cheesecake for customers to enjoy,” says Woolworths Director of Fresh Adam Mourad.
“We’re also excited to see the Chocolate Chunk Cookie Pie arrive in stores. Cookie pies have been rising in popularity over the past few years and so we’ve created a fun version for the whole family to enjoy.”
