Workshop to highlight TikTok’s potential in business

The Victorian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) has launched an initiative aimed at helping small business grow their customer base through a series of events and training focused around TikTok.

According to the VCCI, around 350,000 businesses in Australia already use the social media platform as a channel to reach audiences far and wide.

“As one of the fastest growing and largest social media platforms worldwide, TikTok can help businesses connect with a wide, diverse and new audience,” says Victorian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chief Executive Paul Guerra.

“The Victorian Chamber of Commerce and Industry is committed to helping businesses grow and social media is a tool that when used correctly, can really value add.”

Held in both Melbourne and regional Victoria, the event puts businesses in the room with TikTok, providing insights, tips and tricks on how to use the social media platform to their advantage and an opportunity to hear from businesses who are doing just that.

“From lawn mowers to landscapers, bakers to bookshops, mechanics, fashion, food and tourism, the list is endless,” says TikTok Country Head SMB Tora Brophy. “So, no matter what type of business, I’d encourage everyone to come along because you never know if your video could be the next viral hit.”

Post-event, attendees will get access to a three-part virtual learning series to complete their TikTok experience.
