Woolworths has announced the arrival of Cinnabon Hot Cross Buns, hitting shelves later this week. 
Combining the warm spices of a traditional Hot Cross Bun with Cinnabon’s signature cinnamon “swirl and glaze”, the limited-edition buns will be available for customers in-store and online to purchase across the country.
“We’ve seen some of the reactions from customers about our collaboration with Cinnabon and wanted to serve up a surprise by bringing these Hot Cross Buns to shelves early,” says Woolworths Bakery Merchandise Manager Donald Keith.
“Over the years, we’ve explored many trending flavours for our Hot Cross Buns, but we think the Cinnabon flavour is pretty unique. The classic cinnamon swirl, combined with the indulgent cream cheese-style filling offers something completely new to our range.”
Since hot cross buns arrived on shelves just after Christmas, the traditional fruit-filled buns have been the most popular pick, according to Woolworths.
“However, with over 10 different flavours available this Easter season, there’s plenty of time to explore the full range,” says the retailer.
“From returning favourites like the Biscoff and Cadbury Caramilk Hot Cross Buns to a selection of gluten-free options, there’s a flavour to suit every taste.
Cinnabon Hot Cross Buns arrive on shelves this Friday (28 February).
