Oates, a trusted name in Australian cleaning for 95 years, has announced a three-year partnership with Clean Up Australia. Starting in 2025, the collaboration aligns with Oates’ commitment to sustainability and presents a prime opportunity for retailers to tap into the growing demand for eco-friendly products.
In the lead-up to Clean Up Australia Day on Sunday, 2 March, Oates is set to play a key role as an event Partner. Volunteers across Australia will be on a mission to clean parks, beaches, and streets, with the Oates partnership also encouraging Australians to clean up their own homes and neighbourhoods.

Retailers and distributors can expect Oates to drive consumer engagement through in-store promotions, including a fundraising campaign where 10% of sales from Oates Microfibre Cloth 3-Pack will be donated to Clean Up Australia between 26 February and 26 March 2025. This initiative will provide significant visibility at key retailers and boost in-store traffic and sales during the campaign period.
The partnership offers retailers a chance to tap into the rising consumer demand for eco-friendly cleaning products. The Oates Microfibre Cloth, for instance, is part of a range designed with longevity in mind—many Oates products are washable and reusable, supporting sustainable consumer habits and reducing waste.
