Australia’s certified organic sector has surpassed $1 billion in combined domestic retail sales and exports for the first time, according to Australian Organic Limited’s Australian Organic Market Report 2026. Valued at $1.02 billion in FY2024/25, the sector recorded domestic retail sales of $657.6 million, up 11.9% year-on-year.
As the category grows, building consumer trust will be critical to sustaining momentum. For families navigating a competitive infant nutrition market, that trust depends on clear standards, consistent quality, product innovation and a better understanding of what certified organic means in practice.
For Bellamy’s Organic, these priorities have shaped more than two decades of championing certified organic nutrition. The brand continues to invest in quality, innovation and consumer engagement while strengthening its Australian presence and expanding internationally. Revenue grew more than 60% year-on-year in the first half of 2026, reflecting the business’s continued growth in a competitive market.
This commitment was recognised at the 2026 Australian Organic Industry Awards, where Bellamy’s Organic won Certified Organic Baby or Infant Product of the Year and Certified Organic Campaign of the Year for its Nourish Their Future from Their Very First Goal FIFA World Cup campaign. The brand was also Highly Commended for Certified Organic Brand of the Year and Certified Organic Exporter of the Year.
“Leadership in organic is about more than delivering quality products. It means consistently upholding trusted standards, innovating to meet family needs and helping consumers better understand the value of certified organic nutrition,” says Richard Gu, Chief Executive Officer, Bellamy’s Organic.
From certification to everyday confidence
Independent certification sits at the centre of Bellamy’s Organic’s proposition, providing an important point of assurance for families. Its finished products are dual certified organic, while partnerships with Tasmanian organic farmers help bring the story behind organic production to life.
By connecting certification with the people and practices behind its products, the brand aims to make quality and transparency tangible for consumers. Education is an important part of this approach, helping families better understand the standards underpinning certified organic nutrition and make informed choices.
Product innovation also plays a role in building confidence. Bellamy’s Organic’s Formulated Milk Drinks features an attachable scoop designed to improve convenience and hygiene, demonstrating how practical design can respond to family needs while maintaining a focus on quality.
Taking the organic conversation further
Bellamy’s Organic also looks beyond product features to broaden conversations about nutrition and children’s futures. Its Nourish Their Future from Their Very First Goal FIFA World Cup campaign connected nutrition with parents’ aspirations for their children, generating more than 20 million social impressions and over three million out-of-home impressions.
The campaign reflects the brand’s approach to advocacy: bringing organic nutrition into broader family conversations and helping more consumers engage with the category.
As Australia’s organic industry enters its next phase, Bellamy’s Organic is focused on strengthening consumer confidence, working with retail and industry partners, and introducing more families internationally to Australian-made certified organic nutrition.
For the brand, sustained growth starts with the fundamentals: trusted standards, consistent quality, meaningful innovation and clear communication about the value of certified organic products.
