ALDI is launching its very first pet-friendly frozen dessert today (30 April).
As part of the retailer’s “much loved” Julius Treatz range, Doggy Dessert is promoted as being made with “real” fruit and vegetables.
The dessert ($5.99) offers four portions and is available in two flavours, Carrot & Apple and Pea.
ALDI Director for National Buying Andrew King says our pets are part of the family and there’s no reason they should miss out when it’s time to tuck into a frozen treat.
“Our Julius Treatz range has been offering Good Different doggo snacks for years, with a range of drool worthy treats that don’t break the bank, and we’re excited to bring a new delight to the range,” he says.
“Julius Treatz Doggy Dessert is pup-approved and made with real fruit and veggies for a snack that’s tasty and nutritious, for only less than $1.50 a serve.”
