ALDI Australia has been crowned the best in the country for pork, beef, lamb, and fish in Canstar Blue’s 2024 Supermarket Meat Awards.
Canstar Blue’s annual customer-focused review aims to look beyond costs to determine which supermarket chain provides shoppers the best overall satisfaction with their meat purchases. This year, the annual award recognised ALDI’s meat range for its quality and value, coming out on top overall in the supermarket category with four wins across the six awards.
ALDI Australia Group Buying Director, Meat and Seafood, Adrian Nel says the retailer is extremely proud to be rated number one by Australian shoppers for our beef, pork, lamb and fish ranges in this year’s awards.
“Just like every other ALDI product, our 100% Australian sourced meat ranges undergoes stringent quality control procedures to ensure only the best cuts end up on the dinner plates of Aussies around the country,” he says.

Canstar Blue spokesperson Eden Radford says meat continues to be a staple in the trolley for Aussies with Canstar Blue’s research revealing almost half of shoppers buy meat on a regular basis.
“Congratulations to ALDI for receiving the 2024 Canstar Blue Most Satisfied Customer Award for Supermarket Meats for beef, lamb, pork and fish,” she says.
“This is the seventh consecutive year that ALDI has received a Most Satisfied Customer award for one of our Supermarket Meat categories and is the only supermarket to do so – an accomplishment that’s certainly worth mentioning.

2024 has been a big year for ALDI Australia on the awards front, with the supermarket’s quality and value offerings seeing ALDI recently named Australia’s best-rated supermarket for fruit and vegetables by Canstar, as well as overall Supermarket of the Year by Canstar and Roy Morgan.
