Who Gives A Crap has launched into ALDI in “a bid to bring eco-friendly toilet paper to the masses”.
Shoppers can now purchase “super-long” rolls of bamboo and recycled toilet paper from more than 580 ALDI stores nationwide.
As Who Gives A Crap continues to donate 50% of its profits to clean water and sanitation projects around the world, the company says making its products available to ALDI customers will help it further unlock purpose-driven impact and improve access to hygiene, clean water, and basic sanitation for those in need.
“We’re determined to do the most good for our planet, our people, and our butts,” says Who Gives A Crap co-founder and CEO Simon Griffiths.
“Our customers have long helped us to create a community of people who make a difference through their everyday purchases. Launching in ALDI stores will get our toilet paper in front of more Aussies. We hope this will help catalyse a new age of consumer-driven philanthropy.”
Who Gives A Crap Head of Sustainability Elissa Foster adds: “As a B Corp, it’s our priority to achieve the highest levels of environmental and social impact.
“In the future, we’d like to see everyone making the switch to eco-friendly toilet paper.
“By selling our products in ALDI, we see a great opportunity to make it fun and easy for more people to make that switch to 100% recycled paper or bamboo TP.”
To date, Who Gives A Crap says it has donated more than $10 million to clean water and sanitation non-profits worldwide, working with global partners to improve community access to water, toilets and hygiene solutions.
Who Gives A Crap has created exclusive and convenient 12 packs for ALDI shoppers, who can choose between its recycled and bamboo “super-long” toilet paper.
