The Australian wine brand says the Jacob’s Creek Reserve Barossa Signature range has been specially crafted to showcase the unique character of the Barossa Valley region of South Australia, championing regional provenance through skilled viticulture and winemaking.

The range includes a Barossa Shiraz, and Barossa Cabernet Sauvignon and a Barossa Shiraz Cabernet and will form a new tier of wines within the Jacob’s Creek portfolio.

“The Barossa is undeniably one of the great wine regions of the world, and it’s also the place where the Jacob’s Creek story began,” newly appointed Jacob’s Creek winemaker Ben Bryant said.

“We wanted to pay homage to this precious place by shining a light on the world-class reds of the region and giving them the unique position within our Reserve portfolio.”

Mr Bryant says the Barossa has some of the oldest vineyard soils on the planet, making it one of the most highly regarded winemaking regions.

“We set out to craft a range of premium wines that would showcase how different red wine grape varieties can express themselves in one region – and we hope the result will encourage wine loves to explore the regionality, diversity and quality of the place we call home,” he said.

The Jacob’s Creek Reserve Barossa Signature range is available now with an RRP of $19.99 per bottle.
