Irish brand BFree is set to expand its range of wraps in the Australian market, with the launch of Sweet Potato Wraps.
The wraps are available nationally in Woolworths stores, with the company hoping to provide consumers with allergy-free alternatives without compromising on flavour.
BFree’s Sweet Potato Wraps are promoted as being free from the top-named allergens, including soy, gluten, wheat, diary, egg, and nuts, and are high in fibre, vegan friendly with no added sugar, and contain only 95 calories per wrap.
The company claims its wraps will not crack when filled with ingredients and rolled.
BFree General Manager Alex Murphy says the impetus for expanding the range in Australia has been driven in large measure by the growing demand for high-quality, allergy-tolerant and wheat-free product that also tastes good.
“About one in 70 people suffer from coeliac disease and we know a growing number of Australians are avoiding certain foods due to sensitivities and intolerances,” he said. “All of our wraps in the BFree range are free from top-named allergens … so they’re perfect for anyone who suffers from allergies, intolerances and food sensitivities.”
BFree’s wraps include multigrain, sweet potato and quinoa varieties.
