Bundaberg celebrates ‘simple pleasures’ this Christmas

Bundaberg Brewed Drinks has launched its Christmas campaign, featuring vintage archival footage from a 1970s Australian Christmas.

The new brand campaign is centred on Bundaberg Brewed Drinks founder and master brewer, Cliff Fleming, as he encourages everyone to remember the simple joy of the Christmases gone by.

Throughout the 30-second spot, vintage footage from the Fleming family archive is shown. The footage, from the 1970s, is complemented with the founder reminiscing on the past as well as his hopes for the 2022 Christmas season.

Bundaberg Brewed Drinks CMO Penny Glasson says the brand is focusing on a festive season of simple pleasures, such as spending time with family and friends.

“The fact that we have had the privilege to share the family’s personal footage for this campaign reminds how unique this brand is,” she says.

“Many Australian consumers will be able to relate to the style of Christmas back in the 70s, a period that reminds us of the simple pleasures… just like our ginger beer.

“As a proud Australian family-owned business, we understand the importance of family and friends, especially during the holiday season.”

The campaign will be featured on YouTube, social media, and TV.
