Coles lowers the cost of spring entertaining

Coles has lowered the price on some of the most seasonally-relevant and “award-winning” products to help customers save this spring.

Coles has lowered the price of over 125 products since July, taking the total number of products that have been reduced this year to more than 600, including fresh convenience foods, poultry, bakery, ice cream favourites and pet food.

As part of Coles’ latest value campaign ‘Value&’, Coles recognises its great quality products that have won awards, medals and accolades.

This week, Coles is providing great value on award-winning products in time for the spring entertaining season, including CANSTAR Blue award-winning Coles Free Range RSPCA approved Chicken Breast Fillet Large Pack (Coles Free Range RSPCA Approved Chicken Breast – Winner, 2021 CANSTAR Blue Most Satisfied Customer Award) down to $13 per kg from $14 per kg.

Mornings have been made easier with 4 packs of Coles Muffins, which have no artificial flavours or colours, down to $3 from $3.50, and the award-winning Coles Greek Style Yoghurt 1kg tub (Coles Greek Style Yoghurt 1kg – Silver medal, 2017 Australian Food Awards) at an Every Day Low Price of $3.90.

For customers making the most of the warmer weather with picnics and outdoor social events, Coles has lowered the price of gourmet entertaining, including the award-winning Coles Finest Quince Paste 100g (Coles Finest Quince Paste 100g – Gold medal, 2021 Royal Tasmanian Fine Food Awards) down to $3 from $4.50, Obela Smooth Classic Hommus Dip 1kg, down to $7.50 from $9, and Peter’s Frosty Fruits 8 pack down to $5 from $7.

Customers can also enjoy great-value products perfect for easy barbecue dinners, including 100% Aussie meats like Coles Australian Lamb Leg Steaks two pack, at an Every Day Low Price of $6 and an array of fresh salads including the Coles Kitchen Potato Salad and Coles Kitchen Cheesy Tomato Pasta Salad 800g packs, both down to $5.50 each from $6.

Coles Chief Executive Commercial and Express Greg Davis says Coles wanted to help customers enjoy the warmer weather with friends and family.

“As we come closer to the end of the year and many Australians start planning for the entertaining season, we’ve lowered the cost of products that we know our customers love, to deliver fantastic value and exceptional quality,” he said.
