Costco Casuarina warehouse in Perth, WA was officially opened by Costco Australia & New Zealand Managing Director Patrick Noone on 7 December.
Costco Casuarina is the retailer’s second Perth location and number 839 worldwide. The warehouse is an overall $80.7M investment for Costco in the Casuarina community. The warehouse has created 250 full time and part time jobs, and employed approximately 50 people during the construction stage.
Costco delighted customers with opening week specials on everyday essentials, with ‘wow’ unique/high-end items also made available exclusively at the warehouse opening for members to purchase.
Costco Casuarina offers high quality products at competitive prices across a wide range of
categories such as apparel, appliances, automotive, bakery, books and media, deli and catering, domestics and homewares, electronics and white goods, garden, groceries, designer handbags and luggage, health and beauty, jewellery and watches, fresh meat and seafood, office, produce, seasonal decorations, snacks and confectionery, sporting goods, sundries, toys and tickets.
The warehouse features a Tyre Centre, Optical Centre, Hearing Aid Centre and Food Court. It trades on 13,358.72sqm of floor area, 64,502.03sqm of total site area, and 831 car parking spaces, including 814 standard spaces and 17 accessible spaces.
Costco Casuarina also features a Fuel Station. Members need a Costco membership card to shop and to purchase fuel at its self-serve stations. On offer at the bowser includes ULP91, Premium 95 and Diesel at 24 filling positions and two ultra-high flow pumps.
