Crunch time for homegrown peanuts

Local peanut butter brand Ridiculously Delicious is extending its range with new peanut butter varieties and a peanut brittle.

  • Ridiculously Delicious Chocolate Peanut Butter (270g, RRP $7.99) is a “luxurious blend of 100 per cent Australian peanuts and rich, dark chocolate”. It will launch in two varieties: Original Crunch and Organic Coconut, which includes toasted shredded organic coconut.
  • Ridiculously Delicious Crazy Crunch Peanut Butter (375g, RRP $7.99) is made using the brand’s signature blend of 100 per cent Australian, golden-roasted peanuts and a dash of Murray River salt. This variety is said to be a “super crunchy” alternative to its original chunky crunch peanut butter, featuring “20 per cent more crunch”.
  • Ridiculously Delicious Peanut Brittle (180g, RRP $7.99) is said to be “handmade to perfection” using 100 per cent Australian golden-roasted peanuts, resulting in a “satisfyingly crunchy snack, with a salted, buttery caramel flavour”. The brittle is made using locally sourced peanuts and sugar cane, supporting Australian producers.

The new lines join the brand’s stable of products including peanut butter cookie chips, peanut butter bars, and its range of traditional peanut butter in smooth and crunchy varieties.

Each product contains locally sourced ingredients and is manufactured in Australia, enabling the brand to continuously support local Australian producers while ensuring the highest quality products across its range.

“Ridiculously Delicious is a truly homegrown brand and we continue to be hands on in all areas of the business,” says Ben Dutton, Co-Founder and Managing Director of Ridiculously Delicious.

“The crux of the brand has always been to showcase and champion local Aussie producers and we’re proud to continue to do this, even as the brand grows and expands beyond our original range.”

Ridiculously Delicious products are available in more than 1000 independent supermarkets and grocers including Harris Farm, IGAs, selected FoodWorks, health food shops and premium independent green grocers.
