d’Arenberg has been taking its vinous show on the road, hitting hot dining spots around the country to showcase its Artisan range of wines and a few other special drops.
With work well underway on the winery’s new Rubik’s cube-inspired state-of-the-art cellar door at McLaren Vale, winemaker Chester Osborn decided to hit the road to show off some of his most recent outstanding vintages.
Wines – including the sparkling NV Pollyanna Polly, the 2015 Dry Dam, and the 2013 Lucky Lizard Chardonnay – were all enjoyed by guests at tasting events around the country, with Mr Osborn confirming that the 2008 Dry Dam Riesling is due for rerelease in November.
The 2013 Feral Fox Pinot Noir and excellently named Cenosilicaphobic Cat from the 2010 vintage were also a hit, while the super-premium 2012 The Dead Arm Shiraz showed why it has earned such a solid reputation.
